BURGERS N’ FRIES FOREVER (BFF)

Sep 23 , 2020

Burgers N’ Fries Forever, short for BFF, is one of Ottawa’s OG burger chains. It is not common knowledge, but it was started by a fellow Bengali like me that is based out of Canada and has taken over the 613 foodie scene.

They have recently opened up a location as well in Toronto, and it’s doing well from what I hear!

I have been going to Burgers N’ Fries ever since they opened back in 2013. What I love about them is they have at least 1 or 2 new burgers or fries/poutine options every month, including limited time items, and they have a variety of drinks too. Best of all the burgers it’s halal, and they have veggie, vegan, and gluten free options.

Last year I got the chance to try out their Spicy P burger during the NBA finals, where Pascal Siakam, also known as Spicy P, was tearing up the San Antonio Spurs. Being a Raptors fan, I had to try it out and loved every bit of it. Being Bengali, I tend to challenge myself as well to try and have spicy varieties of food every now and then, and I loved it.

I have had countless experiences with friends, family, cousins and others in Burgers N’ Fries and I have had great memories so far. I am proud to say a Bengali has managed to make an amazing restaurant for burgers outside of Bangladesh, and can’t wait to see more Bengali restaurant owners do well, including the promotion of Bengali cuisine instead of labelling it as Indian Cuisine, although we will discuss that on another post as it is a long story to say. Regardless, try out BFF, which ends up being even better when you go with your BFF, just don’t let them steal your BFF from you ?

I highly recommend this spot if you like burgers and trying different kinds of fries, as once you try it out, you will keep coming back for more ?
